Multi-manufacturer

Mixed fleets stall when every brand brings its own brain.

Today · one manager per brand

  • Brands can’t yield to each other, so aisles get split or fenced
  • Separate maps, screens and rules per vendor
  • Each new brand means a new WMS integration
  • Locked into one vendor’s prices

With NTEC · one shared brain

  • One map, one rulebook, one plan in time
  • Every robot yields to every other brand
  • One WMS / ERP integration for all
  • Buy each robot on merit

Automated task assignment

Every task finds its best robot.

No dispatcher needed: the closest capable robot always takes the job.

Step 01

Order in

From your WMS or MES by API, or a click on the live map.

Step 02

Priority queue

Urgent first; first-in, first-out within the same priority.

Step 03

Eligibility check

Online, in auto mode, no fatal error, battery 20% or more, idle, payload fits.

Step 04

Best robot wins

The 3 nearest candidates, ranked by real driving cost.

Step 05

Dispatched

Collision-free plan, VDA 5050 order, live status to completion.

Multi-agent path finding

All robots, planned together in time.

Simple fleet systems plan each robot alone and stop robots when they clash — that’s where gridlock comes from. NTEC plans in space and time.

  1. 1 · Time-expanded A*

Each robot’s route is timed to the half-second: its speed, aisle and zone limits, and pick or drop time.

  2. 2 · ECBS + LNS

Conflicts are solved fleet-wide; only robots near a conflict re-plan, never the whole fleet.

  3. 3 · ADG release

A robot enters a node only once robots planned before it have left. No collisions, no deadlocks.

A · crosses at t+2.0 sB · holds 0.5 s, then goes

Idle robots in the way get a parking order. Late robots are re-timed automatically.

Automated charging

Robots charge themselves.

01

Never interrupts

A robot running a task finishes it first. Low robots just stop bidding.

02

Nearest free charger

The charging trip is planned like any task: collision-free.

03

Self-healing

An unconfirmed charge is retried; repeated failures are paused and flagged.

04

Fair queueing

All chargers busy? The most depleted robot goes first.

Default levels shown; each robot’s own factsheet levels take precedence.

Zones & traffic rules

Traffic rules you draw on the map.

Safety and site discipline become map edits, not robot reprogramming.

One click to pause, resume, cancel, re-localise or send a robot to charge — every action checked against what that robot supports.

Send us your layout as DWG or PDF and we’ll simulate your fleet on it — free.

Digital twin · Layout-ASimulation

What the twin does

  • Simulates every registered robot with full VDA 5050 behaviour
  • Accepts or rejects orders exactly as real robots do
  • Runs pick, drop, charging and release-zone requests
  • Shows each robot’s plan up to 2 minutes ahead
  • Injects faults: errors, manual mode, pauses
  • Runs faster than real time to test whole shifts

01

Permissions per robot type

Each node and edge lists which vehicle types may use it, with its own speed and rotation rules. A forklift aisle stays a forklift aisle.

02

Open standards, both ways

VDA 5050 v3.0 to talk to robots. LIF 1.0 to import and export layouts, so your map is never trapped in one tool.

What you get

Six reasons the numbers work.

01

Lower cost per move

Robots cover 24/7 shifts, so yearly wage raises stop compounding.

02

No vendor lock-in

Mix brands freely and buy each robot on price, payload and service.

03

Scale without rework

Register a new robot, it syncs its factsheet and starts taking tasks.

04

Safer floors

Collision-free plans, speed zones and one-at-a-time areas near people.

05

More uptime

Self-charging, automatic retries and re-queueing keep work moving.

06

Full visibility

Every task, order, error and charge is live on screen and logged.

Compatible robots

Any VDA 5050 robot. Including ours.

The full NTEC AMR range runs on Fleet Manager. Robots from other vendors connect through the same standard interface.

Robots must implement VDA 5050 v3.0 over MQTT. Have a robot that doesn’t? Tell us the model and we’ll review its interface.

How we deliver

From site survey to steady state.

  1. Step 01

    Map your flows

Site survey, volumes and routes. Your floor becomes a LIF layout.

  2. Step 02

    Prove it in the twin

Robot count, chargers, zones and aisle rules, tested before purchase.

  3. Step 03

    Connect and integrate

Robots join over VDA 5050; your WMS, ERP or MES joins through the API.

  4. Step 04

    Run and improve

Live console, error history, versioned layouts and zones as the site grows.
